Safety, Medical, and Resilience Training in Virtual Reality

On 6-8 September, our journalists took part in the Safety, Medical, and Resilience Training (SMART). They immersed into virtual reality and found themselves in the midst of a civil unrest, and learnt how to navigate such emergencies skillfully, how to provide first aid, and to master their emotions.

The training was conducted by Aella Callan, the Co-Founder and Director of Head Set Immersive and Rianna Starheim, a paramedic and holistic safety trainer.

SMART training was implemented in the framework of the EU4 Independent Media project funded by European Union, with the support of the European Media Facility in Armenia Project.
