Resilient Voices: Strengthening Public Interest Media Ahead of Armenia’s 2026 Elections

The project is supporting independent public interest media in Armenia during the pre-election period leading up to the 2026 parliamentary elections. The project aims to strengthen media sustainability, editorial quality, and institutional resilience, enabling outlets to produce high-quality, evidence-based content that addresses key democratic, human rights, and governance issues.

Six media outlets selected through an open call receive sub-grants to produce in-depth public interest content, alongside tailored training and mentorship focused on audience engagement, monetization, and operational efficiency, supporting the development of long-term business strategies and sustainable revenue models. MIC monitors the quality of content and institutional progress, providing targeted recommendations to support long-term development. By combining content production with capacity building, the project contributes to a more resilient media sector and better-informed public discourse in Armenia.

The project duration: Sept 2025 – April 2026.

The project Budget: GBP 400.000.
