In June Internews published a handbook for broadcasters, station managers and journalists on the issue of organizing the work of newsrooms. The handbook is based on the stenography of one of the seminars carried out by Internews, covering such issues as news production, newsroom structure, journalism ethics, news sources, and containing tips and pieces of advice on news management.
Apart from that, Internews has prepared a legal handbook for broadcasters that would like to carry out their activities according to the current legislation. The handbook contains all the legislative acts concerning the sphere of information, mass media and broadcasting that came into force by May 2002.
The handbooks will be handed out to private broadcasters and journalists throughout Armenia. The electronic version of the handbooks can be found at one of the websites of Internews –Media.am
