Natalie Haroutunian, a graphic designer working for Internews Armenia, was awarded first prize in the category of TV channel design at the 4th Eurasian TV Forum Competition held in Moscow in early October.
The competition awarded prizes in several categories of television production and was open to professionals in TV broadcasting from the NIS and Southeast Europe. Ms Haroutunian’s award-winning piece consisted of a package of identification bumpers for “Last,” an independent TV company based in Goris, Armenia.
The package design is based on ethnographical elements typical for Armenia – ancient decorated dishes discovered during excavations, manuscripts, cross stones, Armenian patterns – and modern elements such as a neon blue color.
