SUMMARY:
Media Initiatives Center is seeking a skilled trainer to deliver sessions at the ‘I am the Media’ Digital Influencer Camp. This 7-day training camp will bring together 20 young content creators, journalists, and activists, who are passionate about producing engaging media content on democratic values, civic rights, media literacy and social issues.
The camp will focus on hands-on production training, emphasizing innovative and engaging media formats and tools for creating educational, motivational, and informative content. Participants will also learn about media ethics, copyrights, and community building.
The purpose of the training will be to enable the participants to practice modern visual tools, use diverse platforms, and methods of promoting the video content.
MIC will also provide the participants technical support and consultations needed to fulfill some of their ideas during the training.
DUTIES:
- Collaborate with the organizing team to design and refine training modules and methodologies based on the camp’s objectives.
- Prepare and deliver interactive sessions on topics such as media ethics, community building, and creative content production.
- Provide coaching and mentorship during the participants’ content production activities.
- Participate in evaluation and reporting on the outcomes of the training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise in media content creation, with a focus on social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of media ethics, community engagement, and innovative content strategies.
- Previous experience in training or mentoring young people.
- Active in rising social issues in social media.

Media Initiatives Center (former Internews Media Support NGO) is a local NGO that promotes free speech and quality media in Armenia.
