Call for International Trainers and Media Experts

Media Initiatives Center (MIC) invites experienced international trainers, media experts, and managers to develop and deliver online sessions on key areas in media management to address the current challenges and transformations in the media industry of Armenia. The sessions will be part of an online school targeted at local media managers, and focused on business planning, team development, project management, financial operations, and digital solutions. The school aims to strengthen the organizational and business capacities of Armenian media outlets.

Session Topics

MIC seeks media experts and managers to act as guest speakers, sharing their expertise and experience on the following topics:

  • Key Business Models Driving Success for Media Outlets Today
  • Redesigning Workflow for the Modern Media Landscape
  • Fundraising Strategies during Crises
  • Leadership in the Changing Media Landscape
  • Managing Media Teams: Performance Metrics and KPI Strategies
  • Strategies for Preventing Staff Burnout
  • Cost Structure in Digital Media Operations
  • Monetization Models Amid New Digital Challenges
  • AI-Based Solutions for Content Creation, Management, and Audience Engagement

Course Details

  • Timeline:  2025–2026.
  • Session Duration: Each online session will last 1.5–2 hours. For larger topics, up to 1–3 sessions may be allocated.
  • Translation: Sessions with foreign experts will be held with simultaneous online translation.
  • Methodology: MIC values learner-focused approaches, incorporating practical tasks, problem-solving scenarios, skill development through best practices, and case studies from local and international media.

Trainer Responsibilities

  1. Close work with the project team and local trainers to design the content of the session/s.
  2. Prepare training materials and handouts, including assignments for the participants.
  3. Lead engaging and interactive online sessions.
  4. Provide a brief post-training evaluation report.

Trainer Requirements

  • Professional work experience or expertise relevant to the session topics.
  • Familiarity with media development trends and challenges.
  • Understanding of the Armenian media landscape (preferred).
  • Experience conducting online sessions.
